Located on Armitage Avenue just outside of Old Town, Park West exudes class. From the shimmering silver front, to the chic interior, to the spacious stage area, Chicago's Park West is the place to go for live music.The historic building started life as a 1920s movie theater called The Lane Court. Throughout the '60s, the theater was used as an adult movie theater and live burlesque venue, the latter of which continues to be a tradition at Park West. The theater re-established itself in 1977, opening as Park West, and has remained one of the most popular music venues in Chicago ever since. In addition to great musicians, the Park West schedule also includes stand-up comedians, dance acts, aforementioned burlesque shows, and DJs.
